FIXING THE HITCH
To those of you who kindly responded to my crie de coeur, I am pleased to tell you that I appear to have fixed the hitch. It took a bit of thinking about and much eliminating of possibilities. Should the hiccup recur, I won't have to spend so much time resolving it.
