Amazing.

We've had localised cyclonic effects from weather conditions, in part, due to the way the neighbouring farm has set and built its large barns and workshops.

We hear the roof creak, then what sounds like lift off. In daylight, to our amazement, the roof is usually intact. However, we have lost pebble dash protective covering, a good length of concrete wall and a pegged down solidly built play house. The wee house flew and landed on its side. It looked like something out of Dr Who, or Somewhere Over The Rainbow....quite surreal.ZACLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07289333819869440699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17674921.post-42002167954914143972010-09-18T22:25:03.480+01:002010-09-18T22:25:03.480+01:00perhaps all our really good storms occur when i...perhaps all our really good storms occur when i'm asleep and i remian oblivious to them?

i speak as a man who slept quite soundly through the massive hurricane of '87!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17674921.post-89671261311783179302010-09-17T23:06:44.921+01:002010-09-17T23:06:44.921+01:00HI Ax,

Of course, it could be more of nature's electrical conditions affecting the behaviour of the web, though I am dubious about that.

I was amazed at your envy of our stormy conditions. I am not so sure that you would want the rest of the crappy weather we've had to go with it all this year.

When I lived in the soft South, (over the border that is) I remember experiencing many thunderstorms over the years and seeing different types of lightening.ZACLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07289333819869440699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17674921.post-77054343755914606032010-09-16T21:31:06.017+01:002010-09-16T21:31:06.017+01:00we rarely get decent storms down here which is why...we rarely get decent storms down here which is why i'm always slightly envious when you describe your own.

what an eventful week it's been!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17674921.post-40293997662962491802010-09-16T20:21:28.379+01:002010-09-16T20:21:28.379+01:00Hi Mr F,
