Great to hear from you. <br /><br />You might be interested to research the beginnings of the Edinburgh Festival; in particular, who was instrumental in generating friendship and understanding through the arts etc, it being just immediately post WW2. I believe it was then titled Edinburgh International Arts Festival. It benefitted greatly from the far-sighted input of migrants and refugees.
