Given that I was told that my package would be with me one to two working days after being shipped, I naturally thought day one would be Wednesday, particularly, as the 'excited' notification, (exclamation marks used in abundance) said that my shipment was on its way, yesterday, Tuesday. Logically, day two would then be Thursday. I rearranged my social activities and 'camped' within ear shot of the front door, heaven forfend I would miss a knock, (delivery service people don't seem to notice the doorbell). I also kept an eye on email notifications, which were constantly advising me that the shipment could not be tracked.
Late afternoon, I was feeling a bit stir crazy, I checked emails again. Oh, there was a different message; I'd got a tracking number I could follow; interesting, this was diametrically opposed to the first constant message with no tracking. I got on the track and discovered my delivery, was booked to be on Monday, next week and any time up till 7pm! The lady I spoke to at the courier's office, said, (thinking she was being comforting I suppose) deliveries are never made earlier than the date given. They might be a day later, but never earlier

Et "on" dit que les fonctionnaires Français sont fainéants... Je crois que c'est pire chez vous...
I find that it's nearly always frustrating having to wait in for parcels so you have my sympathies. Flighty xx
I can sympathize, I too have waited endlessly for parcels that don't arrive and the minute you go out the darned thing shows up! Hope it arrives soon.xxx
Salut Zalandeau,
Avec certain situations, je suis d'accord avec toi, mais il y a beaucoup des fois quand il n'ya pas le cas. On y as beaucoup des raisons pour le beaurocracie d'etre comme il est. Avec moi, lui fait un grande sens de frustration.
